Bei dem Hetzdorfer Viadukt handelt es sich um eine in den 1860ern gebaute Eisenbahnbrücke. Mit einer Länge von 328m und 43m hoch überspannt sie in einem Bogen das Flöhatal. Die Brücke steht unter Denkmalschutz und wurde 1992 stillgelegt. Heute ist sie Teil eines Wanderweges.
The Hetzdorf Viaduct is a railway bridge built in the 1860s. Measuring 328 meters in length and 43 meters in height, it spans the Flöha Valley in a single arch. The bridge is a protected historical monument and was taken out of service in 1992. Today, it forms part of a hiking trail.

Hier im Erzgebirge gibt´s ja einige von diesen wunderschönen Brücken. Das Hetzdorfer Viadukt war mit ihren 43m die höchste eingeschossige Brücke der Deutschen Reichsbahn.
Schon sehr beeindruckend, wenn man unter dem Viadukt steht.
Here in the Ore Mountains, there are quite a few of these beautiful bridges. At 43 meters, the Hetzdorf Viaduct was the tallest single-deck bridge of the German Reichsbahn. It is truly impressive to stand beneath the viaduct.
Seitlich der Brücke gibt´s einen ausgeschilderten Weg nach oben. Ist schon ne coole Idee, dieses tolle Bauwerk nicht dem Verfall preiszugeben, sondern es in einen Wanderweg zu integrieren.
To the side of the bridge, there is a signposted path leading upwards. It really is a cool idea not to let this magnificent structure fall into ruin, but rather to integrate it into a hiking trail.
Von oben hat man einen phantastischen Blick ins Flöhatal.
From above, there is a fantastic view into the Flöha Valley.
